Senior Frontend Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Engineering team, specialising in designing and building user-friendly interfaces that allow to interact with skills data. You'll collaborate with talented engineers eager to learn from your experience and guidance. As a seasoned professional, you'll bring a wealth of external knowledge to help us scale our existing foundation. You're a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment, and you find fulfilment in helping colleagues achieve their full potential.

What you'll do

• Mentor at any level: provide constructive feedback, conduct code reviews, and offer technical guidance to more junior engineers and your peers.

• Help with System Design: participate in designing and implementing user interfaces and in optimising existing ones for a premium user experience.

• Bring your best practices to the table: championing software development standards, testing methodologies, and efficient development processes.

• Strategic Vision: participate in defining project roadmaps, contributing to risk assessment, execution, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery

• Collaboration: working closely with cross-functional product teams to understand and translate requirements into solution

Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of practical experience in a front-end engineering role, preferably at different company stages.

• You’ve gained deep expertise in React.js and Next.js.

• You have front-end design experience with a focus on user experience, preferably with tools like Figma.

• You’re proficient in software development methodologies.

• You’ve demonstrated excellent mentorship and communication skills.

• You're based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
