Product Designer

TechWolf is looking for a Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of the user experience and design system across the Techwolf product portfolio. As our first in-house designer, you will play a foundational role in shaping how design influences our product strategy, delivery velocity, and overall user satisfaction.

Reporting into the Director of Product, you’ll join our Product team and work closely with Product Managers and Engineering to shape intuitive, thoughtful, user-centric experiences that empower some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand workforce transformation at scale. This role will be instrumental in reducing friction, improving usability, and elevating our quality bar to match the technical excellence of our platform.

This is a unique opportunity to build the design function from the ground up: establishing our design system, driving user research practices, partnering deeply with Product and Engineering, and setting the foundation for scalable, user-centered product development as we grow.

What you'll do

• Lead user discovery & research – Plan and conduct generative research, user interviews, and workflow analysis to deeply understand HR personas, their goals, and their pain points. Turn insights into clear problem definitions and product opportunities.

• Run continuous usability testing – Validate concepts, prototypes, and shipped features through structured testing, feedback loops, and evidence-based iteration.

• End-to-end product design – Own the full design lifecycle from research to final UI, ensuring experiences are intuitive, elegant, and grounded in real user needs.

• Prototyping & exploration – Create wireframes, interaction flows, and interactive prototypes to explore ideas quickly and communicate solutions to stakeholders.

• Design system ownership – Build, maintain, and evolve TechWolf’s design system to ensure scalable, consistent patterns across the Console.

• Cross-functional partnership – Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to shape product direction, align around user insights, and ensure high-quality execution.

• Iterate and deliver – Operate within agile cycles, test early and often, and translate research insights into clear product improvements and decisions.

• Champion design & research culture – Establish design best practices, promote user-centered thinking, and elevate the role of design at TechWolf as our first Product Designer.

Who you are:

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Product or UX Designer, with a portfolio that shows strong end-to-end work on SaaS products.

• You’re excited to be TechWolf’s first Product Designer, shaping our design practice, processes, and design culture from the ground up.

• You bring deep UX research experience across methods — from discovery interviews and contextual inquiry to usability testing and rapid validation — and can independently plan, run, and synthesize research.

• You’re highly proficient in Figma (and familiar with tools like Adobe XD), and comfortable prototyping at any fidelity to match the problem.

• You bring strong product thinking, can break down complex problems, and are fluent in user stories, agile practices, and hypothesis-driven experimentation.

• You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers to drive shared understanding and aligned decision-making.

• You have experience contributing to or maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency while evolving patterns to meet product needs.

• You communicate with clarity and confidence, and can articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.

• You’re naturally curious about users — especially HR personas working in enterprise workflows — and are motivated by deeply understanding the problems they face.

• You’re based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
