As a Pre-Sales Engineer at TechWolf, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, playing a key role in demonstrating the capabilities and advantages of our cutting-edge AI skills technology. You’ll work closely with the sales team to uncover customer pain points, translate them into effective solutions, and articulate the value our technology brings to their business. As an API-first company, TechWolf empowers customers to seamlessly integrate our AI-powered solutions into their existing ecosystems, making the role of the Pre-Sales Engineer critical in showcasing how our flexible, API-driven approach addresses diverse technical and business needs. Your role will involve providing technical expertise, conducting impactful demonstrations, and crafting tailored solution recommendations that address the needs of prospective clients.

What you'll do:
- Lead in-depth technical discussions with HR technology experts, showcasing your expertise and building credibility with potential clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on their journey to becoming a skills-based organisation and helping them unlock the full potential of skills data.
- Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and challenges, and translate these insights into tailored TechWolf solutions.
- Take a lead role in managing and orchestrating customer RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that TechWolf's capabilities are clearly communicated and aligned with client needs.
- Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner to help clients succeed and maximise the value they gain from our technology.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to align customer requirements, market trends, and the product roadmap, ensuring our solutions meet evolving industry needs.
- Craft and deliver customised propositions and Statements of Work, setting the foundation for successful customer engagements.
- Work cross-functionally with the Solutions team to ensure a seamless transition from the pre-sales cycle to the post-sales experience, driving customer success.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our pre-sales process, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to help streamline and optimise our approach.
Job requirements
Who you are:
You have 3+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record in presales activities and/or implementing SaaS solutions within the skills or HR tech domain.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt quickly, think on your feet, and embrace change.
Passionate about personal and company growth, you understand the importance of building a successful business while helping customers achieve their goals.
You possess strong written, oral, and presentation skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
You are an expert in discovery and objection handling, skilled at using open-ended questioning to understand your prospects' business challenges, and adept at aligning technical solutions to address the prospect’s specific needs.
You have experience working at a SaaS enterprise startup or scale-up, with a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities in such an environment.
Experience with Skills or HR technology is a strong plus.
You’re a natural communicator with a collaborative mindset, able to engage effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
You excel at building and nurturing relationships, understanding that customer success is at the heart of business growth.
Proactive, organised, and analytical, you enjoy problem-solving and bringing innovative solutions to the table.
Fluent in English and based in London.
