People Partner (Ghent)

TechWolf is the #1 data layer powering enterprise workforce transformation. Our AI transforms raw workforce data into skills, work & market intelligence, enabling fairer, smarter talent decisions and helping shape how millions of employees thrive at work.

Our People team exists to make that true inside our own walls first. We build the frameworks, the systems and the leadership capability that let 130+ wolves across Ghent, London and New York do the best work of their careers. We aim to be a frontrunner in People practices and we hold ourselves to the same skills-based standard we help our customers build.

As we build towards Series C, we're adding a People Partner to the team. This is a deliberately broad role: you'll partner with our leaders on the human side of their teams and own the systems and processes that make our people stack actually run. The People Partners who thrive here are builders who are also operators. They design the framework and then run it themselves, own the strategy and then chase the last ten percent of completion, and move from coaching a leader through a hard conversation to fixing a broken payroll flow. For the first six months the scope stays deliberately hybrid across partnering and operations. From there it consolidates into one, based on your aspirations and where the team needs you.

What you'll do:

Reporting to Carlotta, who leads our People Partnering team, you will:

• Shape what comes next, then build it. We have strong foundations: a performance framework we believe in, career frameworks for every role, an engagement cadence our leaders act on. What the next stage needs is still blank. You'll make the case to leadership for where we invest, then design it, ship it and keep it running.

• Run our People Ops backbone. Our HRIS, payroll and benefits across the three countries, contracts, data governance, plus the people analytics and reporting our leaders run on. You'll use AI to build the models, dashboards and automations behind it, so this work scales faster than our headcount does.

• Own and evolve the performance engine. Run our review cycle from the framework down to the timelines. Prepare leaders to hold a real bar, challenge a weak rating, and keep asking whether what we measure still fits us.

• Coach and challenge our leaders. From first-time team leads to our leadership team, you'll be the person they come to before a difficult conversation, a team change, or a decision they need a sparring partner for. You'll land hard messages through credibility.

• Own the employee lifecycle. Onboarding, internal moves, exits, and the sensitive employee relations cases.

• Be a builder of our culture. Our culture is one of our sharpest advantages and the easiest thing to lose while scaling. You'll help keep it deliberate: the rituals and the standards we hold each other to.

• Operate AI-first. Our internal agents and agentic tools are your leverage. We use our own product to sharpen our people decisions, and we expect you to keep finding the work that shouldn't be done by hand.

Who you are:

• You have 3 to 6 years of experience as a People Partner, HRBP or People Generalist, ideally in a company that has scaled fast.

• You are genuinely comfortable across both people partnering and people operations.

• You influence without authority. You can bring a senior stakeholder to a decision they didn't arrive at on their own, disagree with them and keep the relationship intact, and hold several stakeholder groups with competing priorities at the same time.

• You adapt your style to whoever is in the room, without losing your point of view.

• You thrive in ambiguity and in a fast changing environment. Priorities move, context is changing, and you'd rather start and correct than wait for perfect clarity.

• You have working knowledge of Belgian employment law, or you're the kind of person who will own it properly within months.

• You're comfortable with data. You can pull it, question it, and turn it into a recommendation someone can act on.

• You work AI-first, or you're impatient to. You'll use agentic tools daily here, and we expect you to raise the bar on how a People function uses them.

• You're based in Belgium and eager to work from our Ghent office at least three days a week.

• Bonus: experience supporting people across multiple countries (US or UK especially) or exposure to HR tech.
