As an Information Security Specialist, your work will be central to that mission!

Within Information Security, we create a foundational layer, taking into account the organization’s strategy, relevant regulations and standards we follow. This is processed into actionable controls, which the organization has committed to executing.

Join our team as an Information Security Specialist, where you’ll have a key role in supporting and shaping how security is implemented within the organization, which has a direct impact in how the organization functions (securely)!

What you'll do

You will support through the following activities:

• Leading security audits: We are dedicated in radiating externally that we take security seriously. That is why we maintain a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, as well as an ISO27001 certificate. To maintain compliance, audits must be prepared and executed, for which you will receive responsibility.
• Running Security: To keep up with compliance and business requirements, we have defined a security control framework. To ensure this is running effectively, we must continuously evaluate the execution and definition of these controls to ensure they remain relevant.
• Execution of the Security Roadmap: To ensure we continuously improve, Security defines its own roadmap. You will contribute to the execution of these initiatives, or might even lead a few!
• Interface with customers: Security is not only important to TechWolf, but also to our customers. To demonstrate this, we undergo different kinds of customer assessments and provide guidance from the definition of the architecture until signature.

Who you are:

To thrive in this role, a passion for security is essential. However, the following skills are essential to succeed in this role:

• You're either a fresh graduate with a passion for Information Security,
• Or you have up to 4 years of professional experience in Information Security.
• You have an inherent drive to understand the bigger picture, always seeking to gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of problems.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to bridge gaps and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• As a diplomat, you excel at finding solutions that benefit all parties involved, while keeping the best interests of your function and organization at the forefront.
• You're based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
• Familiarity with audits, information security, and technical expertise are a plus!
