Finance Director

As we embark on a new phase of growth post-Series B, the finance team will play an even more crucial role in ensuring we have the operational foundation to support and sustain our expansion. We are now looking for a Finance Director who can lead our finance team and help us build and execute on our vision and enable TechWolf to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

You will be managing the finance team and leading all efforts related to financial operations such as FP&A, Compliance (Account and Tax) and building out a reporting structure for both internal and external stakeholders. Next to leading the operational finance functions, you will also work closely together with the management team and play a crucial role in strategic projects and future funding rounds.

What you'll do:

• Lead the finance team: building out a stellar finance team and lead them from the front as the owner of the function
• Finance Processes: Develop and build on efficient finance processes to support the company’s growth and operational needs.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting to provide timely and accurate insights to both management and the board.
• Accounting & Tax: Oversee accounting and tax compliance to ensure all financial activities align with regulatory requirements and best practices over our different entities (Belgium, UK and US).
• Strategic Finance Projects: Collaborate with the management team on strategic finance projects such as funding rounds.

Who you are:

• You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in an operational or financial role at a high-growth tech startup, ideally growing to 200+ employees and beyond
• Additionally, 3+ years of experience in Big 4 consulting or similar is considered as a plus
• You have experience managing a team of finance experts in accounting, compliance or FP&A
• Strong focus on operational efficiency within the finance function. You're constantly looking for efficiency gains
• You possess a broad skill set that includes expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and board reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and business analytics principles
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
• You're based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week
